Influenced by my grandpa and father, a sidecar rider, I started
riding a bike when I was 4 years old. At this time we
used to go almost every weekend to my Dad's races. I
enjoyed the time riding my PW 50 through the pits and
growing up in the middle of the mx scene. I can say
since when I am addicted to this amazing sport. Later
than I got a KX 60,but never started racing. Because of
physical problems, my Dad had to stop racing. That
brought the roof down on me and I was really sad. I knew
what I am going to miss. Unfortunately nobody supported
me to get into racing and I was too young to realize my
own motocross dream. The time was coming where you
couldn't find me so often anymore at the tracks. I
reached puberty and other things were more important.
But the passion for Motocross never died. Luckily my
first boyfriend was supposed to be a German pro rider.
The following 3 years I spend intensively in the
motocross and supercross scene. Nothing else was
important in my life. We were a team travelling through
Germany from one race to another. I got to know the
scene in another level, more professional. In those
years I socialize with lots of people and I will not
miss that time. Sick of just to be known as the riders
girlfriend and cleaning the goggles, organizing
everything, holding the license plate and to have the
feeling to miss something. I wanted to ride my own bike
and convinced my Dad to buy one. Actually two. Also one
for him;-). Now we are both riding a pitbike and enjoy
it to go together to races or to practice. But that
doesn't mean, that I lost my dream to race big bikes. So
watch out;-) Terrified that I can not ride a bike for
one year I came to Chicago. Already back in Germany I
searched for MXer in this area. I couldn't find a lot
till I found the CDR website. Almost by accident I got
to know Lake, who introduced me to the rest of the
group. Thank you for that! I am really happy to be part
of it. I am looking forward to a great season with you
guys and to share my love to motocross.
